Urs August Steiner presents at the Swiss Pavilion at the Bombay Beach Biennale. The kinetic installation, S01E03 Refuelling, is part of his long-term project Non-Crystal. The work explores the paths of science fiction into science laboratories, driven by the desire for immortality. It displays human existence as a race, without accepting bodily limitations. Steiner’s work refers to cryonic projects in the desert, where frozen bodies await their resurrection from cold dream states in a distant future.
